Eleventh Annual Meeting

Alliance for Braille Literacy to hold 11th Annual Meeting Monday, October 16, 2023 at 9:00 PM Eastern/8 PM Central

Dr. Abraham Nemeth had an uncanny ability to easily interlace the complexities of advanced mathematics with braille, creating not only The Nemeth Code for
Math and Science, but also its successor, The Nemeth Uniform Braille System (NUBS). The Alliance for Braille Literacy (ABL) was created to preserve and
maintain this system. In recognition of Dr. Nemeth and all of his achievements, The Alliance will hold its Eleventh Annual Meeting on his birth date, October
16th. The meeting falls on a Monday and is open to all members and non-members of ABL. It will be held at 9:00 PM Eastern Time using the Zoom Platform.
Elections this year include Vice President and Treasurer; All members who are in good standing may run for any of these office positions. To be in good
standing, individual membership dues for 2023 must be received by ABL prior to the Annual Meeting. If you wish to submit your name for nomination, please
contact Michelle, ABL Membership Chair, via e-mail at mmichaels.iscience@gmail.com to indicate your intent.

The meeting agenda and Zoom meeting information will be provided via e-mail to all registrants. Registration is free and should be completed by providing your
full name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and the reason for your interest in participating to Bob Stepp, ABL President, at 402-423-4782 or
